is Tanzanian public health specialist trained in medicine and later in public health. Dr. Oresto received his medical training in Tanzania after which he worked extensively on clinical trials as a study physician. He later obtained a scholarship to study public health in the USA upon completion of which he returned back to work on public health and research. At this time, he started engaging himself in small scale business and orienting himself to business environment in Tanzania. Dr Oresto has and remains ambitious in public health related business including building agenda for business oriented research in the country that will result in cost-effective solution of empowering health and advancing the National workforce, especially in the health sector. Health and health program research has largely remained a donor funded area, this entirely resulting into poorly developing industry in the country.

In between his Masters Training and now, Dr. Oresto has initiated and is near end of doctorate training in cancer epidemiology at the University of Tampere in Finland. Dr. Oresto continues to work and collaborate with W.H.O agency (IARC) to do cancer related research in North Tanzania.

Dr. Oresto is engaging in an ambitious mission with his fellow Tanzanian youth aimed at starting and operating a microfinance in Tanzania. Aim is to help fellow Tanzanian to benefit from small loans for business and access to capital opportunities. Dr. Oresto is married and has two beautiful daughters
