MBA, Bcom (hons), CPA (T), is a recognized consultant with more than 9 years of experience in the field of financial audit and advisory services.  He has worked with government agencies, donor funded organizations and major corporations across a variety of sectors to enhance internal control effectiveness and efficiency, budgetary issues and perform annual performance reviews as well as managing performance improvement plans for continuous improvement objectives, perform financial monitoring and strengthening (building capacity) of financial systems in organizations, financial audits, Value for Money audit. 

Currently He works WWF (World wildlife Fund for nature) as Financial Controller, before joining WWF, Katanga worked with Kilimanjaro International Corporation as chief accountant, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as senior Auditor specializing in public sector group, however he has also a vast knowledge in Manufacturing, Utility, insurance, Agriculture and Aviation industry. His consultancy portfolio includes but not limited to consultancy for Global Fund, PSI Tanzania, PACT Tanzania, DFID, Irish Aid, USAID Tanzania, Ministry of health and Social works, Ministry of finance, Fly 540, Ecolab Tanzania Limited, Tanzania Leaf Tobacco Company, Chai bora Limited, Real Insurance, SMEC International, OLAM Tanzania, ASARECA, TAZARA and Royal Norwegian Embassy.  He is a Certified Public Accountant CPA (T), holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI), Bachelor degree in commerce majoring in Accounting (Bcom Accounting (hons)) from University of Dar es Salaam and is an active member of National Board of accountants and Auditors (NBAA).
