is a cardiovascular science basic researcher with a medical background. He is currently the Head of Department of Physiology at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS). He also serves as a co-founder, President and chairman of the executive committee of Tanzania Health Summit since 2014, bringing more than three years of executive experience to lead the largest country’s health forum. He established strong partnership with more than 50 health institutions in the country including the Ministry of Health (MoHCDGEC). Recently, he joined the national’s public private health forum as an active board member. Dr. Chillo holds a medical degree and a PhD in cardiovascular science with six publications in a peer reviewed journal.
