is Tanzanian cancer specialist who becomes businessman and investor with over 10 years’ experience East African Public and Private Sectors. He got his first Degree in Medicine at UDSM, second degree in Medicine at MUHAS, Master Course in Implementation Science Australia, Master of Business Administration at UDSM, and several other short courses in management, finance and researches across the world. During his early careers he got multiple clinical apprenticeships across the world most notable in NYBH in New York and IOWA University Hospital in IOWA both in USA. He received a number of Awards including Good Leadership Award, Avon Global Breast Cancer Scholars Award and International Development Awards. He also serves as member to several local and international organizations including MAT, ASCO, ESMO, and AORTIC. Through his education background and career path, he has acquired skills on various fields including project management, financial analysis, researches and leaderships. He developed strong management and leadership experience through serving various local and international committees, heading departments; public and private sector board membership, as well as various Directorate positions including Managing Director. He is young entrepreneur and investor, to date found over five companies such as Tindwa Medical and Health Services Limited, Caliber Logistics Limited, Supreme Health Services Limited, Tanzania Health Summit, Envimpact Energy and Minerals Ltd, and etc. Family wise Dr. Chakou is naturalist married to Beatrice Chao, and is a father of  three Children Brenda, Baingana and Belinda.
