He got his first Degree in Medicine at University of Dar es salaam, second degree in Medicine at Muhimbili University Of Health and Allied Sciences , Master Course in Implementation Science Australia, Master of Business Administration at University of Dar es salaam, and several other short courses in management, finance and researches across the world.
Dr. Omary Chillo is a cardiovascular science basic researcher with a medical background. He is currently the Head of Department of Physiology at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS). He also serves as a co-founder, President and chairman of the executive committee of Tanzania Health Summit since 2014, bringing more than three years of executive experience to lead the largest country’s health forum. Dr. Chillo holds a medical degree and a PhD in cardiovascular science with six publications in a peer reviewed journal.
LUBUVA, JOHN is an engineer and a business expert who works with Tanzania electricity supply company (TANESCO) as a planning engineer to plan for the upcoming projects as well as monitor the progress of ongoing projects. JOHN knows that good planning is key to achieving targeted results hence in every endeavor he strives to look forward for the future outcome. JOHN is a registered engineer with the board of engineers of Tanzania and has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Dar Es Salaam.
l Munishi is Tanzanian public health specialist trained in medicine and later in public health. Dr. Oresto received his medical training in Tanzania after which he worked extensively on clinical trials as a study physician. He later obtained a scholarship to study public health in the USA upon completion of which he returned back to work on public health and research.
